the Emperor's Closet liner notes, Konishi writes: "I
offered Mr. Seishirou Kusunose two sets of lyrics--this one, "Raincoat
Shuffle," and another called "Kitchen Table." If my memory is correct,
we had a meeting at a place called Strawberry Farm in Shinjuku.
As when writing for Mr. Yoshitaka Minami, I feel more embarrassed
writing lyrics for male singers, such as "your butt is a pancake,
sa" and "it's like dark toast, da ne," than writing women's words.
I feel so embarrassed that I want to die when I use male words such
as "sa" and "da ne" so many times . But I used them a lot. " |
